Your participation in Primary and General elections is a measure of good citizenship.
You can register to vote online, request and absentee ballot or find other voter information at Minneapolis Votes. As polling location information becomes available, it will be listed here.

Register to Vote
You can register to vote online or by mail. You can also register on election day.
To register on primary or election day, you must bring one of the following with your current name and address:
- A valid Minnesota driver's license, learner's permit, Minnesota ID card, or receipt for any of these
- A valid student ID card including your photo, if your college has provided a student housing list to election officials
- A Tribal ID card that contains your picture and signature
If you don't have a current ID with your name and address, you may bring a photo ID and a fee statement or bill proving residence, have someone vouch for you, among other options.

Early and Absentee Voting
With "no-excuse" absentee voting, anyone can vote in person at Hennepin County Government Center.
Early voting is conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
